NASH MC - NAANDIKA "Fikra sahihi huja kwa Lugha Asili"

One of the leaders of the New school of Tanzania Hiphop Movement, a self proclaimed Teacher 'Maalim', Nash MC continues to dominate the streets of Dar-es-salaam with his lyrical lectures accompanied by the Tamaduni muzik Boombap Sound. Nash MC is one of a few independent Tanzania hiphop artists who mastered the art creating a street buzz by releasing a series of Mixtapes and independently distributing his work through out the country without the help of radio airplays. His most recent work is an outstanding Swahili song called "Naandika" where he introspectively invites the listeners into his writing process and the motives behind his writings, without forgetting his role as 'Maalim' during the song Nash makes sure he drops Knowledge to the youth and emphasise the use of Kiswahili language on Tanzanian music, as he spits "Fikra sahihi huja kwa Lugha Asili" which means "A Pure Thought comes to you in your native language" .

ZAiiD - "Mwanzo Mwisho" VIDEO

After creating a Buzz on the streets of Dar es salaam with Live shows,Radio interviews+online social networking with his 1st single 'Mwanzo Mwisho' the upcoming Tanzanian Hiphop artist ZAiiD has released his 1st video for the same song 'Mwanzo Mwisho'. The video was directed by Karabani of ATOK film company who is also known for directing one of the biggest Tanzanian films "Baby Powder". ZAiiD is currently in the studio recording his debut album,which is yet to be titled but expected to drop by the end of 2011.
